Caleb Hinojosa

NYU Steinhardt Songwriting Scholar Award, 2025

Caleb Hinojosa is a singer-songwriter from Dallas who is currently based in New York City, where he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Songwriting at NYUSteinhardt.

Taking lyrical inspiration from artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Jason Isbell, Caleb writes songs with a story at the forefront. His lyrics are carefully crafted to give a unique perspective on relationships, artistry, and what it means to be alive today. His stories are coupled with a unique and raw indie rock soundtrack, powerful melodies, and an honest voice that make for a perfect mixture of vulnerability that demands the listener's attention.

Caleb’s goal is to bring people together by telling stories and asking questions that connect us all, while encouraging every person to tell their own story through art.
