Hailing from Portland, Maine, Singer-songwriter, Amy Allen has made quite a name for herself in the past few years. With the release of her first EP entitled Honey, Amy won The Portland Phoenix’s “Best New Act” and “Best New Vocalist” Awards in the summer of 2011. With the release of her second EP Neptune, Amy continued to win over more and more fans and became a staple in the Maine music scene.

Since then, Amy has appeared on the second season of NBC’s The Voice and has shared the stage with acts like Chris Young, Lifehouse, Sugar Ray, Randy Houser, Ben Taylor, Freedy Johnston and Jonathan Edwards. Amy is currently a student at Berklee University and although she is busy learning from the best of the best in Boston, she has certainly made a name for herself and is definitely one of this year’s rising stars to watch!

With her highly anticipated third EP Other Side Of Somewhere (Produced by John Painter) scheduled to be released later this year, Amy will be hitting the road this summer to promote her upcoming record. Be sure to keep an eye out for Amy and her tour dates for this summer!
