SongHall Writers Workshop “A” recently hosted special guest David Novik who shared his experience in the music industry as an A&R director for labels like Universal Records, RCA/BMG among many others. His involvement in the music industry includes working with artists like the Dave Matthews Band, NYSNC, Bruce Hornsby and Clay Aiken. Dave listened to songs by each of the workshop members and all joined in the discussion of the songs and potential pitch placement with artists.
