The National Music Council’s 29th Annual American Eagle Awards luncheon will take place Tuesday, May 25th at the Hard Rock Cafe. This year, the awardees are Kenny Rogers, Suzanne Vega, Ann Ruckert and John J. Mahlmann, and performing will be SongHall’s current Abe Olman Scholarship winner for 2010, Chris Tedesco. He will be in good company, alongside former scholarship winners, 2008’s Galia Arad and 2009’s Kirsten Thien.
The National Music Council promotes and supports music and music education, and presents the American Eagle Awards every year to individuals who have made significant contributions to that cause. Chartered in 1956, the NMC is the official US representative to the International Music Council.
