Desmond Child to Lead Three Special 20 Person Master Classes at ASCAP EXPO - Must be Registered by March 21st to be Considered!

Desmond Child has written more than 70 Top 40 hits, including “Livin ’ On A Prayer,” “You Give Love A Bad Name,” “Dude Looks Like A Lady” and “Livin’ La Vida Loca,.” He has written and produced hits for Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Cher, Kiss, Ricky Martin, Joan Jett and Katy Perry (2009’s #1 hit “Waking Up In Vegas”) as well as American Idol stars Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, selling more than 300 million records. He recently co-wrote and produced Ricky Martin’s new album MAS. In 2008, Desmond Child was inducted into the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame.

In this exclusive opportunity, 60 people who have registered for the ASCAP “I Create Music” EXPO by March 21st will be randomly selected to experience a unique educational opportunity new to the EXPO this year - Desmond Child’s Master Class in Songwriting. In three intimate and intensive 75-minute classes (one class per day during the EXPO), Child will work closely with 20 lucky attendees per day on the art of songwriting as he explores lyrics, melody, structure and other elements integral to a well-crafted song. This is a rare chance to learn valuable skills directly from one of pop music’s most inventive and successful hitmakers.

Those people who have registered for the EXPO by March 21st will be selected randomly. ASCAP will contact each chosen attendee to inform them of their participation.
