Colombian singer Shakira was the big winner at the Latin Grammy Awards, taking home four accolades at the November 2nd event. Reggaeton group Calle 13 took home three awards - Best New Artist, Best Urban Music Album for their eponymous named disc and Best Short Music Video for Atrevete Te, Te. Argentine rock star Gustavo Cerati triumphed in two categories, Best Rock Song for Crimen and Best Rock Vocal Album for Ahi Vamos, while Brazilian music legend Sergio Mendes was named Best Brazilian Contemporary Pop Album for Timeless.
