Sesac Holds 11th Annual Music Awards

Songwriter/producer Bryan-Michael Cox and Nate “Danja” Hills shared top honors when both were named Songwriter of the Year at SESAC’s 11th annual New York Music Awards held May 10th. Cox also took home another of the evening’s big accolades, along with Jason Perry, earning the Song of the Year award for his smash hit, “Be Without You,” as recorded by Mary J. Blige. In addition to Song, Songwriter and Publisher of the Year honors, SESAC gave the prestigious SESAC Legacy Award to legendary musician, legislative activist and Twisted Sister founder Dee Snider.
