More than 2,300 music creators convened in Los Angeles from April 19th through the 21st for the 2007 ASCAP “I Create Music” EXPO. ASCAP President and Chairman Marilyn Bergman launched this year’s EXPO with an inspiring keynote address. More than 300 panelists participated. Academy Award-winning songwriter/composer Randy Newman discussed his music and performed many of his memorable songs. A showcase at night, sponsored by Gibson, featured live performances by some of ASCAP’s top songwriters.
