SongHall Networking Meeting

OPEN TO ALL!!! A FREE EVENT!!!
Make new connections and grow your network to expand your music’s reach! Bring your iPods w/headphones with your songs and /or tracks to share. Demo producers; bring CD demos and business cards to hand out. Workshop Alumni; get together and share your music and your progress! Acitivities Coordinator Peter Bliss will be on hand to answer questions and will also talk about the upcoming SongHall workshops, showcases, and events.

A Conversation with Songwriter JOHN DENICOLA 6:30PM
New York-based songwriter and producer John DeNicola won both an Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for writing “I’ve Had The Time Of My Life” from the twenty-million-selling original soundtrack to the massive hit film “Dirty Dancing. ” John DeNicola was also nominated for a Grammy Award for co-writing “I’ve Had The Time Of My Life, ” and DeNicola was named “ASCAP Songwriter Of The Year” for his hit songs in “Dirty Dancing.” John DeNicola also co-wrote another massive hit single, the song “Hungry Eyes” for the “Dirty Dancing” soundtrack, which then reached Number 4 on the Billboard Singles Chart for recording artist Eric Carmen.

On Another Note: Announcing “SONGHALL SUNDAY”
February 27th 4PM - 9PM at TOM & TOON, 241 West 51st Street
A “Toon”-full way to come out and play on a Sunday in NYC! We welcome all SongHall members to come and share a song or 2 in this new “Open Mike” on a wonderful stage with great sound and lights. Who knows what special guests might drop in to perform, and with the support of the songwriter community, we hope to continue this event on a monthly basis!
