The Songwriters Hall of Fame in association with The Grammy Museum was proud to sponsor a panel last October before a packed house in the Clive Davis Theatre at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles titled The Art Of Collaboration: Songwriters & Music Publishers Making Music & History Together.
The panel, which consisted of 3 of today’s most illustrious and award-winning songwriters and their respective publishers, shared stories about their personal and professional relationships between artist and publisher. It was hosted by acclaimed songwriter Ross Golan for the new podcast series, “And The Writer Is…”
The panelists consisted of songwriters Jack Antonoff, Bonnie McKee and Dan Wilson with their prospective publishers Jennifer Knoepfle, Scott Cutler and Kenny MacPherson.
Since that evening, “And The Writer Is…” the popular podcast co-produced by Golan and award-winning songwriter, Joe London, has developed into one of the most popular music oriented podcasts, having aired 21 episodes and receiving more than 420,000 downloads.
And The Writer Is…recently aired the event as their Season One Finale, and it’s available now on their website, www.andthewriteris.com, as well as iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and other popular podcast platforms.
Additionally, this past week the podcast was featured in Forbes and The LA Times.
