Our own Project Coordinator, Peter Bliss will head up the not-to-be-missed I WANT TO WRITE SONGS. This workshop begins January 29th and welcomes the beginning songwriter, along with the more experienced writer looking to take their craft to the next level. Popular songs of all genres will be analyzed and decoded to see how and why they work as hit songs. Melody, harmony and lyric will be discussed as individual elements and how they equal more than the sum of their parts in a well-written song. Songs by workshop attendees will be reviewed in the same way.
