We’re deep into awards season, and the film and television music community is busy celebrating ASCAP composers at events honoring their contributions to the top films of 2011. ASCAP staff came out to support our talented composers and songwriters at a number of screenings and Q&A sessions run by the Society of Composers and Lyricists (SCL), including screenings of Albert Nobbs, Puss N Boots, Winnie the Pooh, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dirty Girl, Dolphin Tale and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
