First Songwriters Hall Of Fame Online Auction!

The Songwriters Hall of Fame, celebrating 38 years of recognizing the work and lives of some of the greatest icons composing popular music today, has gathered diverse artifacts, hard to get tickets and one of a kind memorabilia to launch its first internet auction on May 31. The auction will run through June 14.

The auction items run the gamut, from an autographed dulcimer donated by Dolly Parton, who will be honored with the Johnny Mercer award this year, to an autographed copy of Russell Simmons’ New York Times bestseller “Do You! 12 Laws to Access the Power in You to Achieve Happiness and Success.” The lucky bidder who wins Russell’s book will also join him in a yoga practice. Other items include an autographed Gibson Guitar signed by the 2007 SHOF honorees and inductees (Inductee autographs will include Don Black, Jackson Browne, Irving Burgie, Michael Masser and Bobby Weinstein. Honoree autographs will include Dolly Parton, John Legend and Don Kirshner); autographed sheet music donated by Alan & Marilyn Bergman from the Broadway hits Dream Girls, Wicked, Fiddler on the Roof and Avenue Q; a vintage Simon & Garfunkel poster signed by both Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel; two VIP tickets to attend the LIFEbeat pre-MTV Video Music Awards concert at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, NV on September 8, 2007 and a Baldwin M.
