Richard Stump - SVP, A&R, Cherry Lane—visited the Writers Workshop Winter Session. Richard shared some great insights into the business of promoting songs for licensing opportunities along with the more traditional writing for pop artists. The workshop members played their songs and discussed the importance of the “sticky” chorus - and how to make them “stick- ier”!!
