ASCAP Members Help Joplin Recover

There are no words to adequately capture the tragedy that befell Joplin, MO when a class F5 tornado struck the city on May 22nd. And yet, devastating as it was, the tornado couldn’t destroy Joplin’s spirit. We’ve all read news stories about the simple acts of kindness and humanity in the aftermath of the Joplin tornado. Residents whose houses were destroyed, working around the clock to pull perfect strangers out of the rubble. Ordinary citizens coming from hundreds of miles away to volunteer. The circus elephant that was brought in to help clear debris. Smoothie shops, donating portions of their profits back to the community.
