Liz Rose Named “Songwriter of the Year”; “Watching You” Written by Brian White Captures Song of the Year Hillsboro Valley, Sony/ATV Timber Publishers of the Year
(Nashville, TN): Multi-faceted songwriter Liz Rose was named SESAC’s Country Songwriter of the Year during ceremonies held today at the company’s Music Row Headquarters. On the strength of her hits for Taylor Swift ( “Tim McGraw”, “Teardrops On My Guitar”) as well as her contributions to projects by Lori McKenna (Unglamorous) and Walt Wilkins & the Mystiqueros (Diamonds In The Sun), Rose was on hand to accept the evening’s top honor.
