Charlie Feldman, who joined BMI in 1988 from EMI Music Publishing, was promoted to Vice President in 1992. He retired at the end of 2019 and is currently a consultant for the company.
Feldman has worked closely with such songwriters as The Neville Brothers, Tony Joe White, Holland/Dozier/Holland, Carole King, R. Kelly, Rihanna, Hall and Oates and Full Force, to name a few.
He is a past Trustee of The Recording Academy and is a two-time New York Chapter past president. He also serves as a Vice Chairman of the Entertainment Media Division of UJA-Federation, is a board member of T.J. Martell Foundation and a board member of The Songwriters Hall of Fame. He is a member of the Country Music Association, AIMP and the Academy of Country Music.
Feldman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alabama in 1971. He and his wife live in Scarsdale, New York.
