OTiS - Trying to Believe

Brooklyn native Craig Alan Schoenbaum stepped onto the NYC music scene ten years ago at the tender age of eighteen. Known for his soulful voice, Craig was given the nickname ‘Otis’ after the late great Otis Redding. His music can be defined in three words, rock, soul, groove. His fans are drawn to his political message, and with his crystal clear voice, the world’s problems never sounded sweeter. With influences ranging from rock, soul, reggae, funk, and blues, audiences don’t know whether to dance, protest or light up. In 2008, Craig performed at Universal/Motown Record’s showcase at Club Midway (NY), and wrote and recorded an original single “ Believe” with Epic Records. He can also be seen playing around some of NYC’s hottest clubs with his band, appropriately named OTiS.
