JULIE FLANDERS: Kingdom Of Goodbye
Co-writer: Emil Adler. Poet/performer Julie Flanders is co-founder and lyricist for the band October Project whose two albums on Epic Records garnered high critical praise and sold over half a million copies. Her songs have been featured widely in movies and television, including the feature film Blown Away, starring Tommy Lee Jones and Jeff Bridges, and on such shows as The WB’s Dawson Creek, the new ABC series Beautiful People, the most recent season of The L Word on Cinemax as well as MTV’s The Real World, Extra, One Life to Live, Baywatch and Geraldo. Her song, “Sleepless Dark Water,” (artist and co-writer Sylvia Tosun) hit the #8 position on the Billboard charts in 2006.
