Abby Bernstein/Al Street - I’m Not Sorry

Abby is a 22 year old singer-songwriter residing in New York City. She was recently chosen as the ArtistShare for Songwriters featured songwriter and gigs regularly at venues like BB King Blues Club, The Bitter End, The Living Room and Iridium. Abby believes that songwriting is about telling stories and her goal musically is to bring blues more mainstream. She has been influenced by Norah Jones, who she feels put jazz back on the pop charts. She is currently working with producer Adam Blackstone (Jill Scott, Joss Stone, Usher, Al Green, The Roots, Diane Birch) on her upcoming album.

Guitarist Al Street has toured around the world as a U.S. Department of State Jazz Ambassador and has played at top festivals including Glastonbury in the UK, the Montreal Jazz Festival in Canada, and the JVC Jazz Festival in NYC. He can be heard on the Major Motion Picture American Gangster soundtrack as well as Three Days of Rain with Grammy winner Bob Belden. Since touring and recording with funk legend Lee Fields and Daptone recording artist Sugarman 3, he is now leading his own band the Al Street Excursion and co-writing and performing with some of the city’s best singer/songwriters.
