The Durango Songwriter’s Expo will be held for the first time in Colorado Springs at the stunning Cheyenne Mountain Resort, Oct. 2-4.  The Expo is one of the nation’s premier singer/songwriter events with workshops, listening sessions, panels, showcases, open mics, and unparalleled networking opportunities.  With registration limited to 200 attendees and over 40 music industry pros and hit songwriters, the opportunity to get heard and meet industry pros is second to none.  At the last Expo in Asheville in May, three new artists/writers were signed to deals and Expo attendee, Alissa Moreno just had the #1 song in the country (Rascal Flatts), which she wrote at The Expo along with Jeffrey Steele.  There now have been three #1 songs written at The Expo by participating hit writers and attendees.  Special guests this year include Liz Rose, Jill Sobule, Big Al Anderson, Chuck Cannon, Kevin Griffin (Better Than Ezra), and a bevy of hit songwriters and industry pros.
