Sir Tim Rice

A recent email from SHOF inductee Sir Tim Rice informs us that a new production of Evita will open in London’s West End this June.  In the meantime, he works on bringing his collaboration with Alan Menken, King David, to its first theatrical presentation.  Sir Tim’s first show with fellow inductee Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, The Likes of Us, written in 1965 but previously never recorded, was recently released on CD in the U.K.  In addition, a new production of his favorite score, Chess, is also being planned.  “Otherwise not much,” he modestly writes.
