Jim Corwin

Jim comes from an enviable musical family: his father, Bob Corwin, who now lives in the Palm Springs area, was a long time professional piano player who worked with Henry Mancini, George Burns, Pearl Bailey and Bobby Vinton, among many others.

His mother is Amanda Mercer-Neder, Songwriters Hall of Fame founder Johnny Mercer’s Daughter, and a long time music publisher/philanthropist who serves on two major Boards in the Palms Springs Area helping raise funds for several multi-million dollar community projects for the John F Kennedy Medical Foundation and the McCallum Theater.

Jim himself played in several Local LA Rock and Jazz bands in the 70’s and 80’s and has been a financial professional for over 19 years. He is currently Chief Financial Officer for the Facey Medical Group, a large Multi-Specialty Medical Group with close to 200 physicians in the LA Area.
